On March 28, 2004, the officers of Stars in the Night held a Mini-Barry Bash/Fundraiser/Launch of their new local fan club.
We were delighted that our first member, Marilyn Pew, came up from Pennsylvania to enjoy the day with us.
Barry videos played throughout the day. Our many activities and games included “Pin the Tie on Barry,” “Name that Barry Tune,” “Manilow Pictionary,” “Barry Trivia,” “Charades, Manilow Style,” and “Barry Scrabble.”
Several raffles were held during the afternoon, and the entire day was capped off by a grand auction, which included some cherished Manilow memorabilia. That afternoon, $825 was raised to be used for the Germaine Lawrence Holiday Gift Bag Project.
And Stars in the Night officially was launched…
