As a local chapter of the Barry Manilow International Fan Club,
Stars in the Night has the following mission statement:

• To get together with local Barry Manilow fans to enjoy Barry’s music, appearances, and videos, as well as each other’s company
   
• To work closely each year with a local charity selected by the members of Stars in the Night
